ARRIVAL

We will pick you up from your port of entry or accommodation if you are already in Bohol. This kayak trail is along the eastern corridor of Bohol. An ideal coast to kayak as it is sheltered from the seasonal winds brought by the SW Monsoon. A 2-hour ride will take us to one of the northern towns. Optional stop to the famous Chocolate Hills if we are to leave at the latest by lunch and if we are picking you up from the airport or the capital city – Tagbilaran.

We will have a final kayak gear check & equipment fitting if needed, then trip briefing over dinner.

Day 2

On the eastern coastline of Bohol lies a beautiful geo trail that is not among the usual tourist routes. Our exploration starts at 0800 a.m., once breakfast is done and some good coffee. Sandbars, rolling ridges, and a karst cliff wall mixed amongst the oldest & most diverse coastal mangrove coastline of the Central Visayas provides us a stunning vista not commonly pictured as Bohol. Communities here heavily rely on fishing, the bountiful catch is brought about by its close vicinity to the Danajon Double Barrier Reef, the only one of its kind in southeast Asia. We will spend the night on an offshore camp, a sandbar in the

Day 3

After our 0700 a.m. breakfast, we will paddle back to the mainland through the mangrove forests that lead into the Candijay River where this trip ends after lunch.

ADD ON: Should you choose to stay in the beach town of Anda, we can arrange a night Firefly Kayaking excursion in Candijay River which can start at 4:30 pm for a little additional cost. However, should you choose to just be dropped off to your next accommodation after the trip ends, we can do so as well.

LEVEL: From Beginners to Intermediate (some level of fitness is necessary)

This trip is perfect for those wanting to experience Bohol from the backroads of its well-trodden tourism route where we still see nature intertwined with the present and the past embedded in its people.
